Following its launch in 1959 the classic Mini was soon on its way to becoming a global icon especially after partnering with Cooper in the early 60’s to develop the fabled Cooper & Cooper S variants. Not long after the Cooper S’s release it was entered in the Monte Carlo Rallye which sensationally it won in 1964 & 65. Production of the classic Mini continued until 2000 when the last one rolled off the production line however this was swiftly followed by the new generation BMW Mini which launched in the same year. Scorpion have been producing performance exhausts for the classic and new generation Mini’s for over 30 years, so it was natural that we became chief technical partner with the increasingly popular Mini Challenge race series ensuring true track to road technology transfer for our products.

GPF-back System:
Our experienced technicians have developed a 70mm/2.75” non-resonated GPF-back system for the Mini Cooper S F56 (inc. JCW model).
We offer a selection of tailpipe styles and finishes. You have the option of twin 100mm polished/black ceramic Daytona or our signature carbon Ascari. Black ceramic undergoes a meticulous coating process, ensuring a durable and flawless finish. Polished stainless steel is finished by hand, resulting in a mirror-like appearance.
Carbon Ascari is manufactured using high-strength carbon weave for a distinctive sporty aesthetic. Steel inserts permit hot gases to pass through without discolouring or weakening the carbon shell. An upgrade kit is available, allowing you to swap out trim finishes at a later date.
Once installed, the new freer-flowing GPF-back system ensures efficient expulsion of exhaust gases, improving the vehicle's power delivery and sharpening throttle response while also reducing overall weight.
GPF Delete:
Complete the look or go standalone with our GPF delete section. This additional pipework removes the restrictive GPF filter, which otherwise muffles the exhaust tone, creates intensive back-pressure, and limits tuning potential (for motorsport use only).
Fits both the Scorpion 70mm/2.75" GPF model system (evolving your GPF-back exhaust to cat-back status) and OEM (retaining your standard back box for a stealthy OEM+ aesthetic). This excludes the 76mm/3” Mini Challenge system.
